House show is a queer contemporary arts events series in Santa Barbara that showcase visual and performing artists. The second house show included interactive audio visual performances, puppet performance art, poetry, entomology drag, and seven visual artist. Artists Kate Saubestre and Tyler Maddi screen printed House Show designs for free on community provided textiles. House Show aims to not only be a space for making and showcasing art, but also a space for mutual aid, community building, and resource redistribution. As two queer academic artists, organizers Devon and Lucy are interested in the blurring of activism and art that public practice allows.
